En IMI hemos realizado una colaboración con el Instituto Europeo de Diseño (IED), creando el material S-IMI-L.Este toma como base los materiales Montessori originales para crear unos con las mismas proporciones, características y medidas. En este caso están fabricados con otros materiales, como por ejemplo con cartón rígido o poliestireno, para que se puedan manipular más fácilmente, así como poder enviarlos a nuestros estudiantes y que puedan trabajar con ellos en sus hogares.
S-IMI-L es el material que ayuda a nuestros alumnos a realizar las prácticas de manipulación y presentación de actividades, que se irán impartiendo durante la formación.
El material S-IMI-L representa un recurso invaluable porque permite comprender, a partir de la propia experiencia, las características de los principales materiales Montessori y practicar la forma en que se ofrecen a los niños. A través de webinars en directo, vídeos tutoriales y material teórico, nuestros alumnos conocerán las propiedades de cada uno de los materiales del área, el momento oportuno y la forma adecuada de ofrecerlo.
