Art is an expressive language very naturalized in school, which is often limited to isolated, unsystematic or technical experiences, which say little about the expressive flow of the child from 3 to 6 years.
From the Montessori perspective, the artistic experience has a particular focus. It focuses on the needs of the child, taking into account his sensitive period and the prepared environment that we can offer him. There are a multiplicity of aspects that can be offered in this evolutionary stage.
Discovering channels in the environment to offer situations that cover different codes of artistic languages is a necessity for the child, because it allows them to have a tool to express, explore, develop their intelligence and language.
Artistic expression is for the child from 3 to 6 years old a joyful, free and daily experience.
