PRESENTATION

This training includes all the Montessori materials of “Casa de Niños” and the complete Montessorian theoretical base, without forgetting the importance of the emotional and relational elements essential to achieve excellence in daily educational practice.

Taking advantage of the flexibility of new technologies, we have designed high quality and rigorous training that allows for the first time a completely online format to reconcile the desire to learn with family life and work.

TEACHING TEACHER

International Montessori Institute (IMI) is a Montessori training centre with a clear objective: to offer a classical and rigorous Montessori training based on the original sources of Dr. Maria Montessori and adapted to current educational needs.

Our trainers have been carefully selected for their extensive international experience, both in private and public schools, with the aim of transmitting all the richness of the Montessori Method in different social environments.

To offer all the theoretical tools and practices for the implementation of the Montessori method

LEARNING OUTCOMES

We have developed a structure consisting of 40% theory, complemented by 60% practice.

MONTESSORI THEORY

  • The historical context of the work of Dr. Maria Montessori and temporal and geographical evolution of the method.
  • Montessori’s philosophy: The scientific method developed by Dr. Montessori with all its theoretical elements.
  • Psychopedagogy: A solid theoretical basis essential for implementing pedagogy, which is focused on the healthy development of children.
  • The adult-child relationship: the new role of the adult, the importance of observation and cultivating relationships.
  • The Prepared Environment as an educational tool, its adaptation, and management.
  • All scientific evidence supporting Montessori theory, from psychology to neuroscience.

PRACTICAL MODULE

  • Practical Life: all the activities of Personal Care, Environmental Care, Grace and Courtesy and Movement Control that make this area the essential basis for all future learning.
  • Sensory material: all visual, auditory, olfactory, tactile, baric and stereognosis sensory materials.
  • Language: from oral language to grammatical awareness, going through the whole process of reading-writing.
  • Mathematics: all the materials and activities starting from the concept of quantity and number, going through the discovery of the decimal system, all its operations and memorization of tables until reaching the phase of abstraction.
  • Plastic Arts: incitement to the discovery of art from a Montessorian perspective
  • Music: specific musical discovery materials such as Montessori bells and composition material.
  • History, Geography and Biology: experiments, sensory materials, and many other activities to discover these cultural areas.
