GENERAL TERMS

1.- PRIOR KNOWLEDGE. The student, prior to signing this registration form, declares to have received from the International Montessori Institute all the information, advice and documentation about the contracted course; by way of example and not limitation: on prices, forms of payment, course materials.

2.-  REGISTRATION EFFECTIVENESS. From the course Management, the student receives the confirmation of the enrolment, which becomes effective as soon as it is held of the International Montessori Institute, duly completed and signed by the student.

3.- DELIVERY OF THE COURSE MATERIAL. If the contracted training includes additional material for the completion of the course, it will be delivered to the address provided by the student, in the days prior to the start of the training. All shipping costs are assumed by the training center, except the DUA (Single Administrative Document), in the case of non-EU students, applicable tax by the receiving country of the student and of which the centre is unaware.

4.- TRUTHFULNESS OF THE DATA PROVIDED. International Montessori Institute. Trust the veracity of the data provided by the student. However, if at any time the falsity of one or more of the data provided is proven, International Montessori Institute is empowered to proceed to cancel this enrollment in whole or in part. Consequently, if the student had paid any amount, the International Montessori Institute as a penalty clause, also being empowered to demand the pending amount of tuition, if applicable.

5.- KNOWLEDGE OF THE REGULATION. By signing this registration form, the student declares knowledge of the academic regulations of the International Montessori Institute, which are sent with this registration form, while accepting them as regulations.

6.- RIGHTS ON THE COURSE AND TOTAL REGISTRATION. From the beginning of the course, the student has access to the different services that it offers. The student enrols for the entire course.

7.- WITHDRAWAL FROM THE COURSE. The student has 14 days from the date of registration to exercise the right of withdrawal from the contracted course, in accordance with the provisions of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of November 16. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the student must send a written request to the International Montessori Institute (by e-mail to [email protected]  or by letter to Passeig de Gràcia 101, 2º 2ª, 08008 Barcelona). *€20 will be deducted from the amount of the pre-registration, for administrative expenses, (administrative procedures, bank commissions for: card operations, transfer expenses for the return, etc..).

*In case of cancellation by the International Montessori Institute, the center undertakes to fully refund the amounts paid.

8.- PAYMENT OF FEES. After the fourteen days foreseen to exercise the right of withdrawal, counting from the start date of payment of the first installment, both the student and the account holder, if he were a different person, are jointly and severally obligated to pay the entire amount of the contracted course, the modality of installment payment carries an interest of the collection of 1.1% NIR for administrative expenses, direct debit management and return of receipts. 

9.- NON-COMPLIANCE WITH PAYMENT. Failure to pay a fee incurs a delay, and the International Montessori Institute to claim the entire debt, both past due and pending. Likewise, when banking and/or management expenses arise from said breach of the payment obligation, these will be borne by the obligors. International Montessori Institute reserves the right, in the event that payment is not made within the stipulated term, to communicate the data related to non-payment to Asnef (National Association of Financial Establishments), an entity dedicated to the registry of breaches of obligations. Failure to pay two consecutive monthly payments entails the automatic closure of the student's access to their training course, access again restored once the non-payment situation is regularised.

10.- EXPRESS SUBMISSION. For any action or claim arising from the interpretation and/or fulfilment of this contract or any of the agreements contained therein, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of Figueres, expressly waiving those of their jurisdiction and domicile if they were others. And in proof of conformity, affirming and notifying myself of the content of the preceding clauses and with the will to comply, I sign this document.

11.- DATA CONFIDENTIALITY GUARANTEE. Basic information on data protection: In accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) 679/2016, we inform you that Effice Comunicacions S.L., the entity that owns International Montessori Institute and Segurisua S.L. is responsible for data processing, in order to provide the requested services and that the legitimacy is based on the execution of a contract and compliance with a legal obligation. Data will not be transferred to third parties, except for express authorization or legal obligation. You have the right to access, rectify and delete the data, as well as other rights indicated in the additional information. The origin of the data is from the interested party or his legal representative.

12.- IMI QUALIFICATION. Students will receive their certificate in digital format, being able to request its delivery in physical format, assuming responsibility for the costs of sending and editing the diploma.
